  • Bumped the project development version, public installation snippets, and AI skill packs to io.gitlab.guisseppe:spring-kafka-test-utils:4.1.0.
  • Raised the compile/test baseline from Spring Boot 4.0.5 to Spring Boot 4.1.0.
  • Updated JaCoCo to 0.8.15, json-schema-validator to 3.0.5, Apache Avro and the Avro Maven plugin to 1.12.1, Maven Compiler Plugin to 3.15.0, and Surefire/Failsafe to 3.5.6.
  • Updated the documentation site dependencies, including Next.js 16.2.10, React 19.2.7, lucide-react 1.23.0, Tailwind CSS 4.3.2, Shiki 4.3.0, TypeScript 6.0.3, and related Radix and tooling packages.

Fixed

  • Replaced the removed lucide-react Github icon export in the landing page with a supported repository-link icon so the upgraded site build type-checks successfully.
  • Updated the Sonatype Central publishing plugin to 0.11.0 so the release job can parse Central status responses that include deployment warnings.

Security

  • Imported the Jackson 2.22.0 BOM ahead of the Spring Boot BOM so legacy com.fasterxml.jackson modules inherited through Kafka and Avro test dependencies are controlled by a single override.
  • Ran npm audit with zero findings and scanned the repository with Docker image aquasec/trivy:latest version 0.72.0.
